It's interesting that the 12 Steps declare co-dependency in an alcoholic relationship, therefore apportioning the blame equally, yet fail to see that religion itself and the relationship with a god is co-dependent and evil!

The idea that you put your faith in a higher power, i.e. God, makes you a slave when you're already dealing with the addiction. How can that even be remotely helpful?
