Yeah, it was her initial reaction on Tumblr that drew my attention in the first place.

So I've had a pattern here of linking articles of things that the people here have pointed our are abysmal examples of feminist thought. Here I have an article that has also been called out on Tumblr as being bullshit, though it doesn't strike me as offensive as the last two articles I linked. Also, it has nothing to do with rape: https://medium.com/disney-and-animation/7c0bbc725...

The main criticism of this article that I've seen is that the writer despises Anna and Elsa for making bad decisions and thus being poor feminist characters. There are some other points of hers which I haven't heard refuted yet, but yeah, this does strike me as a bad approach to this one particular issue. Oh, and the writer was also mocked for complimenting Sucker Punch, too.

There goes the first half of season one and the second DVD. I think I'm gonna take a break and cover Doctor Who again.

The fact that the penciller is not Mark Buckingham, like it is for the entire rest of the main series, IIRC, makes it all the easier for me to recommend that people start with volume 2.

And now I'm remembering that I haven't read past volume 17. Dunno when I'll fix that.

I have a suspicion that there will be people who thought the show got soft on Walter right at the end and prefer to think that "Ozymandias" was the last episode. Not very many of them, though.

The last few times someone in a creative profession died (I'm specifically thinking of Anne McCaffrey and Elmore Leonard now), I was just familiar enough with them to know who they were but I hadn't had any personal experience with their work. With Hoffman, I was only just getting to know his roles in movies like Catching Fire and Capote. I'm a bit concerned that I'm not feeling much of anything besides a little bit of regret that he couldn't have made more movies. I hope I can express more grief than this when someone like Stephen King, who was instrumental in my high school development, passes away.

The way you phrased that reminds me of someone.

Can't put my finger on who.
