I wouldn't call it misunderstanding social cues, but...eh, maybe that's what it looks like to an allistic person.

That girl seems more like a stalker, though. I've never heard of pyramid schemes until now, to be honest. I'm surprised people actually do that. :o

Instead of bedtime, you could offer up, say, reading or a worksheet, a project or an essay, etc. It's about being creative. My favorite teachers were always those that offered us up options. For math, it was that we could do a review or take a test. Some kids chose the test, others chose the review (basically the test, but with using our notes, knowledge, book, etc.). Or, those fun math worksheets that are a little harder vs. a math packet of slightly less challenging problems.

The possibilities are endless. Either way, you still get them to do stuff.

That's such a creative party! I especially liked the Nerf Twinkies and how there is a schedule for everything. xD

I think a mentor works for some people. I see a therapist, but I don't really see that as the same thing. The thing about having a mentor, however, is that you may learn just that one way of doing it and/or it may not work for you. They remind me so much of life coaches, something I have a bad experience with.

My hair isn't forgiving. It's thick and curly, and I started straightening it when neither I nor a hair stylist could figure figure out a way to fix it. It's the curly messy that goes all different ways. :x I love the layers, though - the messy, choppy layers - with the side-swept bangs. The only problem with that is that I can't find anyone who knows how to do it right except one stylist company that's pretty darn expensive. :(

Your hair is AWESOME, though. I also really adore your quirky style. :p

This is awesome!!! I live in Texas. xD But even still, I didn't know about this! I may attempt it... Couldn't be /too/ bad, right? Maybe in July I will, though.

Good luck!

I haven't seen any of those movies before, but a few monies /have/ inspired me to blog. Avatar is a good one - for me, it was about nature and coming together and working together. :]
