Faded Out : Pyramid Scheming Girl

I wouldn't call it misunderstanding social cues, but...eh, maybe that's what it looks like to an allistic person. That girl seems more like a stalker, though. I've never heard of pyramid schemes until now, to be honest. I'm surprised people actually do that. :o My recent post February 2016 in a nutshell

http://www.rageagainsttheminivan.com/ : How do get kids to do just about anything

Instead of bedtime, you could offer up, say, reading or a worksheet, a project or an essay, etc. It's about being creative. My favorite teachers were always those that offered us up options. For math, it was that we could do a review or take a test. Some kids chose the test, others chose the review (basically the test, but with using our notes, knowledge, book, etc.). Or, those fun math worksheets that are a little harder vs. a math packet of slightly less challenging problems. The possibilities are endless. Either way, you still get them to do stuff.

http://www.yourstylistkaren.com/ : Mentor & A Funday Monday Link Up

I think a mentor works for some people. I see a therapist, but I don't really see that as the same thing. The thing about having a mentor, however, is that you may learn just that one way of doing it and/or it may not work for you. They remind me so much of life coaches, something I have a bad experience with.
http://www.delightfully-tacky.com/ : Q A // how to cut your own hair

My hair isn't forgiving. It's thick and curly, and I started straightening it when neither I nor a hair stylist could figure figure out a way to fix it. It's the curly messy that goes all different ways. :x I love the layers, though - the messy, choppy layers - with the side-swept bangs. The only problem with that is that I can't find anyone who knows how to do it right except one stylist company that's pretty darn expensive. :( Your hair is AWESOME, though. I also really adore your quirky style. :p

Blog by Sinead : Comment love or the lack of it

I don't know what's up these days with bloggers/people/whatever, but I keep receiving emails in return as well. Like... what? You don't want to come back to my blog and comment me there or something? I think it would take just as long to go into your email client and email me a response rather than staying on your blog and coming to my blog, etc. IDK. I just let it go. That was January, and it's still happening. :( I do, however, feel bad. Because sometimes I can't keep going back to the other person's blog. It may be their layout, writing style, spelling/grammar/etc. issues... Anything, really. Sometimes I can stand/tolerate them, but when I can't, I don't reply. A huge factor is spelling/grammar/too dark layout/too light layout. You know, those kinds of things. I think it also depends on who you comment and whether they're likely to return comments or not. Have you met Stephanie or Georgina? Stephanie - flutyocarina.net Georgina - heartdrops.org. I get a lot of people from Georgina's blog come to my blog. :p Don't remember how I met Steph; I've been blogging a few years, and she's stayed. Georgie sometimes takes a bit to get back, but she typically does. ...even though she receives 15+ comments. ;) My recent post Hello, Katniss…?

KALIE&CIE : The tagging game

I've already done this on my blog, so I'm going to just post my answers here... Your favourite desert recipe to share? Does fruit salad count? If you could have a gift of something (premonition, healing…) what would it be? I already have the stupid premonition gift. Do you recycle? Sometimes. I do when I can. Where would you like to be in 10 years? Teaching and happily married with friends as well as my websites. :P 2011 is almost over. If you could summarize your year in one sentence it would be…? My year was depressing - all of it; even I was depressed. Your favourite thing to do alone? Be alone. You won a roundtrip ticket to anywhere in the world. You chose to fly to? Europe. Or even Canada. One thing you are really good at? Ticking my step dad off. Describe yourself in 3 words. Spazz Math Unique If you could spend a day with a famous person, who would you chose? Meh. Idk.. Landon Liboiron... Yeah. Something you hate to do. Hear my step dad make my mom cry.
