It's not hard to understand that alcoholism causes some serious destruction in the lives of people to whom it affects.
And Homelessguy, I understand addiction. I am not 'judgeing' It's just that it is what it is, no matter how we try to soften it.

Ok, this is Onalaska not Seattle. extremely rural and conservative. Wonderful place to visit if you need to wind down...way down. The term "small town" comes to mind.
Did I not read the teacher is also the principal? Possibly the janitor too.

Just because he was labeled the "Painter of Light" doesn't grant him the title of God's Messenger. He was a painter and he died an alcoholic.
It's sad.

I won't resort to slinging obscenities but judgement can be skewed "if" the man had been drinking excessively.
Now that is purely conjecture on my part but, the man was in quite a downward spiral for months preceding his death due to alcohol and I believe pain meds also. This comment stream is about the legalities of wills and penned notes in an possible altered state. And as far about him being an alcoholic I actually feel sad for the guy.
It's a terrible way to exist. Drugs of any kind can be a cruel taskmaster.

If he in fact penned those notes, due to his condition and or problems he should of had it witnessed somehow. All we have now is a "she said" and I don't think that is going to fly.

She's a crackhead herself. But I hope like you do maybe time away from that scene will help her see it for what it really is. A crazy mix-upped lifestyle.
