Joshua Blake reached across her with the gun in his hand. Could she not have pushed his arm in order to spoil his aim or maybe warn Officer Tony R. somehow? He approached the vehicle on her side. But even without doing anything that young lady showed no remorse for what had happened. During the trial she conveyed no feelings whatsoever. She consistently lied up until the Police came to arrest her after Blakes death and even then they had to break down the locked bedroom door where she was. And as far as the duress defense that didn't hold no water either. She stated herself that Blake was concerned about her safety which is why he did not tell her where he was going after he dropped her off on Sidney ave. I think we do each and every victim a disservice when we filter criminal behavior through pity!
