Best Foods mayonnaise (or Hellman's depending on which part of the country you live in). Cascade dish washing detergent. Coca Cola - my whole family - do not show up with Pepsi or else. And yes! Great Lash! Nothing better.

Watching someone fold towels differently than I do makes me bonkers. My reaction is way left of reasonable. I fold mine in half from end to end, in half again and then in thirds from each side. Don't even get me started on hand towels or washcloths.

Not gonna lie. I'll swim just about anywhere if there's enough liquor involved.

If I thought my daughter could be in some sort of physical danger, I wouldn't hesitate. Short of that, no. On the flip side, we have told our teenagers that privacy is a privilege that we will happily and thoroughly extend unless they give us reason not to.

One way we built trust with our kids early on was when they asked us questions we didn't think they were ready to know the answer to, we told them it was a good question and we would answer...just not yet. We always followed through, whether they asked again or not, when they were old enough. They are now teenagers and very open with us still.

I make sure my kids know that I know they're lying. I call them out on it immediately. Most of the time I will say something like, "Wanna back up and try that again?" I also try to make them understand, especially now that they are teenagers, that lying makes it harder for me to believe them in the times when they really need me to.

Preston for the win. I have a circle of friends who tend toward the left. Hard. I voted for Bush. Twice. We love, we cry, we support, we debate...we trust. A couple had issues with my *whisper/glitterboobs/whisper* post here and told me so. They told me so in a way that was full of mutual respect and remained honoring to the friendship we had built. Those who know nothing about me? Not so much.

I think we should all print this out and Gorilla glue it to our laptops.

This^^^^^. That's exactly it.
