We are all over severance. My wife is making objects from the show as gifts for her siblings who are big fans, like mugs and plates. As I watch more of the Pitt it is definitely growing on me.

I had the same question! I started watching it today in the background while doing chores. If you like realistic emergency room dramas with a dusting of humor, its your show. I am not usually a doctor drama fan, but seems like a well done show for what it is. I am on episode four at the moment.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone enjoyed the break, however that looked for you! I am going to make the best of the new year despite the outside closing in!

My department chair is already stressing us out with a work email!! Save it for tomorrow Charlie!! (not their actual name.) Looking ahead with a certain fascination as the right implodes upon itself and the wheels of civilization continue to turn.

We went to Gladiator 2 last night! I liked it, though felt it needed more development (like how Denzel Washington's character rose to power so quickly) so am looking forward to the 4 hour directors cut that aparently exists. Then we played pool in the lowereast side to a near empty pool hall. Best place to ring in the new year.

Side note, apparently Ridley Scott based the character Denzel Washington plays (Macrinus) partly on Trump. Something to ponder.

Currently in Canada. I will return..... Sadly every time I leave during an election I come back to this shit. During breakfast this morning I learned of this unexpected, layered connection that Elon Musk has to Saskatchewan. Among other things, his grandfather who moved here from Minnesota, tried to form the Technocracy Party here in the 1940s, but it was outlawed for fear they wanted to overthrow the government. Not foretelling at all!!
