I work in a hotel, so I get asked this same question a lot. Plenty of choices, depending on what they're in the mood for.
Being in California, we also get folks asking for REAL Mexican food. There's a few good places, and a couple to avoid - the most authentic place, even the 'gringo' sauce will strip enamel off your teeth.
Now, 'Californian' cuisine, that's a whole different bucket of fish... with avacado, pine nuts, feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes... Thankfully, there's a few places as do that justice.

Ah yes... I have this distinction at the local Del Taco, owing to my grabbing dinner there every sunday night before work.

I would also know regulars when I worked other places. I had folks who would come in for my milkshakes (which apparently brings 50-year old women to my yard), and the owner of the fencing academy was regular enough I could get his Cappachino Blast ready before he came in.

Ah, but you see, the Know-It-All isn't about imparting useful information. It's about deriding someone else for their LACK of such information. They may actually drop a few pearls of wisdom, but mostly it's in order to show off how stupid the other person is.

Yes, but then someone would have to clean the cages, and there ain't no amount of money that'd make that worth it.
