Ooh, thanks for the recs. I do admire your sense of style and you know I'll need these sites when we start remodeling our house. I can't wait to start, although it is really intimidating!
We used to call D the Angry Chicken. I feel ya on the fussing all.the.time. She was that way for months. Part of it was just colicky behavior the first few months, then a couple of months later we realized my milk supply was low. Once we gave her formula she was much happier. Now she's 2 1/2 and a diva and there's no help for that kind of fussing. ANYWAYS, I love reading how in love and happy you are. He's such a sweet little guy and lucky to have you as his mama.
Beautiful, strong post. So proud.
Oh my goodness! Congrats to you!!
What a sweet dad. That's exactly how I want my DH to be with our girl. It's so important to have that dad investment. I hope your dad continues to do well.
This is dinner at our house! But my husband is home most of the time and he's trying to occupy D while I frantically try to eat a hot dinner and then we trade b/c at that time D only wants to "sit in Mama wap." And yeah, as I'm making dinner, she's reaching for pretzels and graham crackers and her Elmo yogurt pouch so by the time I put dinner in front of her, she takes one bite and says "I all done" and wanders off into the living room. Maybe one day...
I try to cook the harder dinner on weekends and make super easy stuff during the week too. It's hard & I'm always looking for shortcuts. I do like Greenling too! Though I usually just order meats/staples from them. I've never tried their produce. Did you like it?
Congrats on the house! I know it's exciting and stressful at the same time. I can't wait to see it (I do get to come over, right???!)
Cute, cute, cute!! I need to order from that website. My lunches are all looking the same. I feel like D eats better when I'm a little more creative with my lunches so I'll have to keep it up for the summer.
So glad you've found a great group. It's taken me a couple of years but I finally feel like I've found a few people who live nearby that I can relate to. Support is vital for any mom, no matter what stage you're in.
