Ooh, thanks for the recs. I do admire your sense of style and you know I'll need these sites when we start remodeling our house. I can't wait to start, although it is really intimidating!

http://jenhasapen.com/ : My Dearest Chicken

We used to call D the Angry Chicken. I feel ya on the fussing all.the.time. She was that way for months. Part of it was just colicky behavior the first few months, then a couple of months later we realized my milk supply was low. Once we gave her formula she was much happier. Now she's 2 1/2 and a diva and there's no help for that kind of fussing. ANYWAYS, I love reading how in love and happy you are. He's such a sweet little guy and lucky to have you as his mama.

http://www.meaganmusing.com/ : Dinnertime = Wild Time

This is dinner at our house! But my husband is home most of the time and he's trying to occupy D while I frantically try to eat a hot dinner and then we trade b/c at that time D only wants to "sit in Mama wap." And yeah, as I'm making dinner, she's reaching for pretzels and graham crackers and her Elmo yogurt pouch so by the time I put dinner in front of her, she takes one bite and says "I all done" and wanders off into the living room. Maybe one day...

http://www.meaganmusing.com/ : A Random Weekend Recap

I try to cook the harder dinner on weekends and make super easy stuff during the week too. It's hard & I'm always looking for shortcuts. I do like Greenling too! Though I usually just order meats/staples from them. I've never tried their produce. Did you like it?

So glad you've found a great group. It's taken me a couple of years but I finally feel like I've found a few people who live nearby that I can relate to. Support is vital for any mom, no matter what stage you're in.

The little things like that kill me too. Once I write them down, I realize they really aren't that bad, but just that I build them to be huge, annoying things in my head. I really have found making a list makes me do them b/c I can see what needs to be done, how easy it really is and most of all? It feels really good to cross things off my list!

At the beginning of the year I made a calendar and decided that I would do certain tasks each night--blog, read, craft etc. Sometimes it's hard to stick to, but other times I feel like it helps me to stay focused and productive. Hope both the kids are feeling perfect now!

http://www.meaganmusing.com/ : The Joy of Playtime

I stink at playing too, but like you, I realized that D looooooves to "help" and I can give her little chores and it makes her SO happy. I also like going to smaller grocery stores with her (like Sprouts) b/c she likes pointing things out and helping me bag items. So I do count this as play b/c we're both having fun (and I'm secretly accomplishing things!).

http://www.meaganmusing.com/ : Lens Length Comparison

This was a really good explanation! Thank you. I have my kit lens and the nifty-fifty. I'd like to invest in some more, but obviously I have a loooooong ways to go to work on my skills so I can't justify getting anything new right now. But I like seeing the different options out there. BTW, Caroline's chubby little wrists in that last shot are just too precious.
