true, but I'd imagine that the show is in a place that has more equality in sports. Just keepin mind that in the amazing race they had melon launching slingshots, which is highly illegal in my town, and building one will get you 3 years minimum for 'construction of a weapon larger than one foot in length.'

well in my area it's a woman's sport and any males asking about roller derby is told "GO PLAY FRICKIN FOOTBALL!" in less kind terms. They're more than welcome to watch and spend money on the sport as long as they aren't playing it.

If I had a Rollerderby team (which is nigh impossible due to the fact the sport is girls only) I'd love to have someone light on their feet and heavy in the hip check *CRASH!* I helped manage one team due to being the ex boyfriend of the trainer, the girls didn't like a male being there until they found out it was hard to hit or slow me down when skating. I was there to teach them how to anticipate moves blindly, and this was driven home with me wearing blinders and holding a ball that They were supposed to take from me. I took the ball fourteen laps before losing it to a girl grabbing the nearest padded cone and clocking me with it. Needless to say she was disqualified from the next 140 matches or ten years which ever came first.

Well I tried applying to a fast food place and was told "I'm sorry but you are the wrong gender to work this establishment." and it was just fast food, not Hooters or other places that slightly objectify women, it was a burger and fries place.
Then I applied for Janitor for the local school, which lacked a janitor for 8 years, got told that the school has a no male policy and was shown it which somehow survived lawsuits on the grounds of protecting the children... though not sure that's correct with them having to scrub toilets themselves....
