Get divorced, get some peace. Of course this is after they have exhausted everything else - counseling, blah, blah.
2. Someone who was unemployed for a year and a half but just got a job and bill collectors are after them.
Write them a cease and desist letter for the constant calling. Start bankruptcy proceedings as soon as possible
3. Person started college, went for two years, got an internship that turned into a full-time gig. Five years later, they have lots of financial responsibilities (mortgage, child) and have reached a place in their career where they can't advance without a degree.
Finish that education, do so online. Get a support team together to help with the child when getting assignment/ study time is critical. Check out and apply for any and all money before FASA. Start actively paying off debts. Doing/did this myself currently without kids but know and help a couple of folks who are doing so with them kids in tow. It is hard, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
