Womanist Musings : It Seems That the Dutch are not As Tolerant as Many Believe

Afrikanners. That is what the Dutch are called in Africa. The history that they have in Africa is violent and they show that they too are a violent and abusive group - trust me when I say that the we are a polite and kind country toward everyone is a farce. That they have a tradition that goes further and make a mockery of black folks and get upset about the interruption of this mockery is not a surprise to me. If you get a chance to look up that history.

Think Pretty Smart : Something IS Out There

1. Person who married someone and the situation is so bad s/he stays away from home as much as possible. Get divorced, get some peace. Of course this is after they have exhausted everything else - counseling, blah, blah. 2. Someone who was unemployed for a year and a half but just got a job and bill collectors are after them. Write them a cease and desist letter for the constant calling. Start bankruptcy proceedings as soon as possible 3. Person started college, went for two years, got an internship that turned into a full-time gig. Five years later, they have lots of financial responsibilities (mortgage, child) and have reached a place in their career where they can't advance without a degree. Finish that education, do so online. Get a support team together to help with the child when getting assignment/ study time is critical. Check out and apply for any and all money before FASA. Start actively paying off debts. Doing/did this myself currently without kids but know and help a couple of folks who are doing so with them kids in tow. It is hard, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
