I'd rather just eat a cookie with my coffee. Your theme looks fabulous. I'm going to be back to share cups of coffee with you. http://www.kalpanaawrites.com

What a lovely post. Thank you for drawing attention to this attitude that many people have towards the differently abled. This organisation seems to be doing great work.

That was a very comprehensive post about travel. I enjoyed the story of your travel on the great ocean road.

Lovely post specially the take your daughter to work day to expose them to the work environment. How beautiful. I'm checking out that blog hop - sounds good.

I love your volunteer activities - they sound so good. I volunteered to rescue street dogs, get them vaccinated and spayed and put back in their own territories - they're unhappy in shelters. I think the sad thing about the gap year and student volunteering is that young people do it these days because it looks good on their resume. http://www.kalpanaawrites.com/quandary/

Wow - what a fabulous day. Mmmm - I have a few but I'll stick with Mitali Saran - whom you may not have heard of because she's an Indian columnist. Some of her columns can be found at her blog http://mitalisaran.blogspot.in

Oh I did a lot this Spring break. Put away winter things and took out summer. Got a bone densitometry test done. Slept a lot. Applied online for a visa. But there's still stuff that's pending and it's quite painful to think about.

Hmmm. High expectations, difficult for anyone to live up to. Love is a feeling,it doesn't matter what someone says or doesn't say.
