Sorry to learn about the illness in the family, hope everyone is feeling better now.
Loved your account of the family doctors of your growing up years. My current GP is quite like Mr. I who wears a mask like expression, that never changes irrespective of who visits him or what is said to him. Thankfully, he isn't too much into using the 'lethal weapon' and on most occasions, we manage with a script of bitter-sweet pills. Thankfully, he is pretty patient with patience unlike the other specialists in our area.

I completely agree with you that 99.5% times all my agitation and headaches are solely cause of hunger. Keep me fed and the world will be quiet a peaceful place.
Absolutely loved this 'food for thought' post that made me crave for a bite hardly two hours after dinner ;)

My best wishes to you in finding a clear view of the path you deeply desire to embark upon. I think luck factor has a minor role to play as compared to how badly you wish to follow your passion. I have been in a similar place in my life and I am well aware of the struggles you've written about.
Stay strong, think clear and talk openly about your dreams to your parents. I hope things will change in your favour soon.

Amazing assortment of bookshelves in such creative shapes and so well placed on the walls that having them around would only add to the charm of the place. Those laptop stands too look handy and very useful.

This post is a wonderful compilation of all bed types. I have always loved the storage beds but could never come to love the sofa beds.
