I started reading this series on your recommendation, and I am grabby-hands anxious to get the third book. I agree with you -- the mystery often takes a back stage to the romance, but the ending was a doozy in this one.

You nailed it--Anna feels REAL. I think that's what drew me into this book too. I hope you're planning on reading Lola soon. As much as I love Anna, Cricket reminds me of the boyfriend and <3 <3 <3.

Soren was kind of a surprise, but I liked the addition of his character to this book. IT MADE IT INTERESTING. :)

I've been struggling with both reading and blogging ever since the Christmas holidays. I've sort of been limping along. I think that forcing myself to read a little bit every day has helped, as well as giving myself permission to take a break or not put as much pressure on myself. (Though that's all a big part of the reason why I started looking for an associate reviewer. Less pressure on my part.)
