:D ah ha ha, I love this. Its like me and writing stupid novels and short stories. It might take years but by GOD it will get done... eventually.

I get this dude and at the same time I want to give him a swift kick in the ass. I've been there and ain't NOBODY can dig you out of your hole but YOU. Someday maybe he'll understand and find a better path.

Haa, real identity.... I was showing some friends my OkCupid replies, which are admittedly ..hmm.. acerbic? Not Nice? especially when someone has been gross/rude and I was told, 'wow, I didn't know you cuss so much'. and 'You're really... mean.' which makes me feel one part proud and one part ashamed? The social conditioning of Being Nice To Everyone is really hard to shake.

aaaah.. ha, no sorry I wasn't being super clear. I grew up in Flyspeck, Lake Tahoe - dad got a job in another Flyspeck, Utah which ended VERY BADLY within the space of a year and THEN we moved to Reno.

Ah ha ha, I always feel weird telling people that moving to RENO of all places was hard on me. But I'm glad I live in a city (even though it took years to get used to it). I love telling people how tiny the town I lived in was - always satisfying to get the 'SAY WHUUUT' from them.

Yikes, indeed ! Small towns are weirdly terrifying.... and I say that as someone who grew up in a town with a total of 3,000 people (my high school class has 64 people total, ha)

Oh yes, we got out of there - we just can't ever go back lest an 'accident' happens. Rather I should say my father can't ever go back as he was the main person the torches and pitchforks were for.
