Well, at least he's an adventurous eater! Ivy loves radishes which I think is weird for a little one but I'm glad she's willing to try weird stuff. Oh and garlic parsley pizza sounds really good.

We had a really rough hot HUMID summer here in NYC but now it's cool and raining and I kind of appreciate it. In other news: I can't wait to wear jeans again!

Hope you have a great time! If you have some free time, go to Grimaldi's pizza in Brooklyn (under the Brooklyn bridge) You'll have to wait in line, but I promise it's worth the wait. Also, it's a nice tourist-y thing to do b/c you can walk to the pier under the bridge and marvel at the city. I live here and still love to do that.

As someone who had the pleasure of spending her formative years in good old Jersey I can attest to the fact that we are not all fist pumpers. Actually the recent rash of reality TV based in NJ reminds me of my friends HS graduation party in which he announced he was SO EXCITED to be getting out of NJ for college and his mom looked at him dead serious and said " NEW JERSEY IS REALITY JOE - FACE IT!!"

I don't go as far as writing eulogies, but yes when I don't hear from someone when I should I start freaking out about 1 of 2 scenarios: accident/death and or jail.

OMG LOVE IT! Fugazi and Op Ivy totally remind me of High School. I felt so old the other day when I was listening to Op Ivy and they were like " It's 1989" and I was all...really? 20 years ago? Really??

Although I think she's partial to reggae Ivy has been known to rock out to some punk as well. Diverse music tastes. She has them.

I try really hard not to complain b/c hubs tries to be super helpful, but there was always that thing of like when he does the laundrey - is he doing this poorly on purpose so I never let him wash our whites and darks together again? His version of getting up w/ Ivy used to be to pick her up and bring her into bed w/ us, swollen wet dipe and all till she cries for her milk and I get up anyway to make it. But lately on the rare occasion he gets up w/ her he's been actually changing her and making her bottle so I can sleep in. This is good.

I could not resist clicking through a link from twitter that had the hashtag #buttnut. You are hilarious but I'm sorry about the hemmies. I didn't suffer too bad while preggo but when I was younger and waiting tables I suffered bad. Witch hazel helps, uh, cool them & stop the ouchy itching.

Oh wow their website seriously rocks. I don't cloth diaper but we LOVE wooden toys. I would totally get the Plan Toys swimming seal walker thingy or the Green toys recycling truck. Now I'm off to send this site to my preggo friend who has yet to set up a registry!
