Tiger makes plenty of money from their "free" emulators. Self promotion of their other software and ads can do better at times than a sale on Android Market.

Our emulators were more spotlighted than others though, in terms of branding and reach.

I personally helped send money from Yongzh to Exophase (gpSP's author) for use in GameBoid. He also fixed some long standing bugs in gpSP's source and sent the fixes back to Exophase.

I know he's done at least some giving back, and has done impressive work. Know that these aren't simple compile for a new platform and go. This takes a large understanding of such code and the platforms involved. This is not a simple task. Yongzh was one of the few capable to do this, especially at such a scale.

This has all been done and handled to some extent. There's the issue beyond this of my public image. Rebuilding my image at this point is an uphill battle. There is way too many factors to balance and eyes focused on me to make this work now. I'm an adult who has aged fast and I must support people helping me out with families who depend on such. Time for me to move on.

Quick note before I get flooded with responses.
I am in the process of updating my GitHub and there will be changes made as soon as today. So there is prep work in order to organize such. So if any of my projects pop in and out of the public repos for a bit, that is why.

Yong is very easy to contact by email. He can sell "other peoples work" under certain licensing conditions. If this is not the case, which developer of software he sells is he being pursued by? Definitely let us all know.

Ripping off open source? That's sort of the point. You rip it off, you work on it, you check my GitHub and look at the source, and you go back under your bridge.
