In most states where bars remain open late people don't usually go out the pubs and bars till closer to midnight. So these "clients" don't say drunk longer, they simply start their evenings later. If opened later they won't be pre-funking and then hitting the road at 9pm while more drivers are on the roadways.

I'd say they left the story open at the end which makes me assume there will be another act to this movie. The story lacked substance in my opinion- that's all.

This movie lack character build up, plot explaination, and gripping moments. The movie really never took off IMO.

Exactly!!! The County should find another prosecutor and court to handle this investigation. There is an inherent issue between the County and her Union with the county leading the investigation. The end result doesnt lend well for the taxpayer nor the county operations.

The State should perform this investigation rather than the light footed county. This girl is just as guilty of spending taxpayer money, and is now trying to receive shelter from the County. All the while her intent will be to lift the wallets of the taxpayers once more in some sort of lawsuit. And for what reason? There is none, but settlements tend to make the ugly go away.

It also could be possible that the officer made two poor judgement calls that night. First was standing behind a car without room for escape- what cop in his/her right mind would put themselves here? The second was firing his side arm because he made the first poor decisions.

From what I have heard reported from the deposition the officer said "F*** it" then fired his side arm at him. This doesn't sound like an officer of sound mind. If it does to anyone else, then god help us.

I'm wondering if the family is going file suit against the Chuckwagon for over serving. Laws being laws, one would think prosecutors would pull the liquor license away from the Chuckwagon for over serving which initated this incident.

It is a shame that an officer is facing trial. Nobody is perfect even when we want them to be. My hat is off to those who tend to the toughest duties in order to maintain our safety.
