i don't want to go to a smoking lounge i want to go to a bar and have a beer and a smoke. and until this law passed I could do that so yes we have had a freedom taken from us. and as for websters f$ck websters. and i am sorry your mother was not responsible enough to not smoke while she was pregnant and not smoke around you as a child but that has nothing to do with the smoking ban so save it for another debate about iresponsible parents. if you were allergic to trees would you want the state to cut down all trees for you and people like you? I cant have most nuts so should the state make resturaunts not use almonds in deserts and food? you are totally missing the point and maybe you should look every word you read up in websters and then you might be able to get my point.
ok but.... i am not complaining about a family resturaunt or a playground i am talking about a bar, you go to a bar to drink or smoke or do both. and don't be fooled by the media saying it is for concern of public health it is part of their agenda to try and force people to quit smoking without making it illegal. i do not smoke in my house and do not smoke in the car with my kids and anyone elses kids for that matter.
you are a sheep following the rest of the flock, you don't care about your freedoms being taken away unless it is a freedom you care about. how will you feel when the govt. will try to take your child away from you because it is too obese? sound crazy well it is already happening in some countries with universal health care. what if we make silicone breast implants ilegal? i am a man but i still would be mad because i feel that what a woman does to her body is her freedom.
what about the states latest discrimination against smokers and telling bar owners what to do?
we may be able to trace our roots to other countries but we are still here leagally. our country has a process for people wishing to become leagal citizens for a reason, why should we allow people to cheat the system when others play by the rules. i will welcome any person from any country with open arms providing they do it leagally. and as far as going back to my country i am in my country I have not nor will i ever pledge allegance to any country but america.
so how does allowing them to be here illeagally to do our grunt work better mexicans as a people? wouldn't it make more sense to encourage them to come here leagally, learn the language get a job that pays double what they make picking fruits have health insurance and not live off welfare? you say that we are dicriminating them because we want them to be here leagally where they can take advantage of oppurtunities our country offers, i say it is people like you who are holding mexicans back by allowing them to settle for a job working in a field rather than encouraging them to live the american dream the leagal way!
why is it that when people smoke in a public place suddenly the govt wants to protect the employees. but there are jobs everywhere that expose their employees to things more dangerous than smoking. Crab fisherman for example should we outlaw the sale of crab because crab fisherman have too dangerous of a job? what is next passing a law making americans buy the safest car most expensive car or they can't drive? cause cars kill too. might as well take all guns away no more hunting cause some one could get shot. h e l l our vice president shot some one in the face and he still has the right to own a gun and hunt. better close all churches cause it causes too much traffic on sundays and people might die. better close police departments and fire departments those employees have way too dangerous of a workplace too. oh and lets make it illeagal for our country to go to war. a soldier in a war has got to be more dangerous than someone working in a bar that allows smoking.

in a earlier post you threw out the numbers 1 in every 14 rapes is a false report where the woman was lying. last i checked 1 was not a "majority" of 14 so why are these women "suspect " of lying?
and just for the record i do feel that if one innocent man is put in jail, that is too many.
