Seriously it does not add that much time to come to a complete stop. put the brakes on, look both ways, don't run over the jogger or biker and then go about your business. Not difficult to avoid the ticket.
I completely disagree with Blome on this. Timing on the yellow is certainly important but I think you bring every tool to bare on the problem. pause from red to green is a good tool, longer yellow, countdown clocks, cameras, cops in cars all of these are effective tools.
So people are complaining when the universe of potential tickets is 1%. As far as I am concerned ticket away.
My quick answer to the question is no. I really don't notice a difference in the stores and yet I notice a huge difference on the road. i don't see the cameras as negative for our community at all.
