I love Bay's reaction. It just further proves that the "cool stuff" is his only real reason to make the movie, and the human quality doesn't come into play until much, much later.

Terminator beats the everloving shit out of Transformers.

I love how literal your interpretation of that was.

I never saw the original, so I have no basis for comparison. But just as a movie all its own, it looks pretty damn good!

It's a complete rip-off, but I will watch for Dakota/Torch banter. >_>

I happened to like both the original and the remake for different reasons.

However, the sequel? I mean... the ending to the last one sort of made that look impossible. Does Mike have to come back as an undead monster now? It's going to run into some of the same reasons as to why I dislike most of the original Halloween sequels. It just became way too supernatural and thinned out. Ugh...

Wow, a lot of negativity going around, but I thought the trailer itself looked great. The story looks interesting and the prospect of seeing Gambit and Sabertooth is exciting. The "flying" looks like Logan propelled himself up from an exploding vehicle. I'm assuming there's a little more to it than him just jumping up like he's Superman. Personally, I liked it.

God, that letter just sounded like pure fellatio to the Twatlight fandom. And not in a respectable sense either- like he just laid himself down on a giant, rusty knife and said "Okay, I'm done."

It's one thing to know your audience, but usually the good film/television storytellers don't set out to just do exactly what the fans want them to. And they end up better off for it.

It would be pretty ignorant of me to talk about a show that I hadn't already watched.
