A lot of PC manufacturers also offer(ed) Linux computers.... Should Microsoft not offer them Windows due to this? Sony makes nice PC laptops AND competes with Microsoft in the gaming console arena. It's all a zero issue. The real story is that the new Windows 8 is going to operate across platforms and tie your TV, XBox and tablet together. That will happen best if you have Microsoft components but they aren't limiting you to only that one option like Apple does.

While I kind of agree with Ken about Pam's high jinks I think Ken misses the point that a Republican Budget passed in a Senate that is totally controlled by the Democrats! Sounds like a wake up call was rung in Olympia... but not in the KOMO news room?

I noticed the article didn't mention the vehicle origin and thought that it is most likely Canadian as well. That would also explain the lack of arrest for Reckless Driving as it seems our Law Enforcement tries to limit the creation of International incidents.

I remember being horribly sickened back in the 90's...... Haven't been a fan of fast food since. BK just got on the Absolutely Not list for my family.
I can't believe the Dept. of Health didn't whip out the "under funded, lack resources" card.

2. The "minorities" who live in my "red" area are better neighbors than the "non-minorities"

Not pretending to be an expert but I have a least read up on the Orca. If you are as knowledgeable as you state yourself to be please step up and correct the wikipedia while you are at it, school kids world wide are basing their reports on the information found there.

It is hard to see a submerged whale, for the most part local boaters do try to stay away from known whale activity.
Also the additional wounds and maybe even the previously known wounds may not even be of human origin. We do have Orcas in the area who are properly named whale killers ( the local resident pods which are currently absent mostly feed on salmon but the non-resident pods that come through subsist heavily upon seals, sea lions and whales)
