A lot of PC manufacturers also offer(ed) Linux computers.... Should Microsoft not offer them Windows due to this? Sony makes nice PC laptops AND competes with Microsoft in the gaming console arena. It's all a zero issue. The real story is that the new Windows 8 is going to operate across platforms and tie your TV, XBox and tablet together. That will happen best if you have Microsoft components but they aren't limiting you to only that one option like Apple does.

It is hard to see a submerged whale, for the most part local boaters do try to stay away from known whale activity. Also the additional wounds and maybe even the previously known wounds may not even be of human origin. We do have Orcas in the area who are properly named whale killers ( the local resident pods which are currently absent mostly feed on salmon but the non-resident pods that come through subsist heavily upon seals, sea lions and whales)

We would like to know who is at fault. There are at least three people involved in any medication: The Dr., the Pharmacist and the person administering the medicine whether it is a nurse or other medical profesional. I've tried the one in Marysville. A Sloppy mess is what I got. The burger's taste was nothing special. The atmosphere was "fun" but not enough to make up for the lackluster burger. If you have a peanut allergy stay FAR Away from the place as they have peanuts out to snack on while waiting in line. The only real bonus to the place is the truly great offering of extras with your burger. You really can tailor it to your choice. My selection was a basic bacon cheese burger which as noted earlier was delivered slippery and less than appetizing.

Windows 7 has proven to be a great product and I do want to update my Vista computers to 7. I am not buying it through Amazon after reading about this incident. I am also now looking at the recent purchases I have made through Amazon and rethinking all future purchases. Amazon defenitely should have stepped up and taken care of this and sued the subvendor for sullying their reputation. As to why they run these articles: the TV news has always added the consumer interest tale whether it be the grocery store not charging the advertised price of the Auto Repair shop not catching their rigged vehicle failure. It's meant to show that they are looking out for you not just for ratings....

That testing was last week. The kids at the Middle School got a lot of positive promotion form the teachers and administration and the test was less stressful than the WASL - due to being a shorter time frame from what my child tells me. Driving through the neighborhood Saturday morning there were construction cones strewn in the roads and a discharged fire extinguisher in the road. It all looked to me like a group of kids out late with no supervision. Then again the vandal down in Shoreline ended up being in his 30's.
