well, we'll see what happens in court. for all of those calling to chop my member off, grow up.. you really dont know the whole story. im ashamed to coexist in a world where justice is thrown out because people are too emotional to think properly.

When has the government ever done anything right? 'Cash for Clunkers' has been found to install software on your PC to intercept and copy files from your computer, they can't even figure out how to distribute the bailout money. Now we want to trust them with all of our medical records? They've already made a list of people "unfit to live", over 1 million people will not be covered, and the amount of money they'll put into it will make it impossible to pay your own medical bills. You think it's bad now with government subsidised insurance? Our state of health care is so bad BECAUSE of the government, giving tax dollars to the insurance companies, which is what inflated the cost of medical care to where it is now, now they want us to trust them to fix their mistake by taking over completely? No thanks.

Heres another idea.. If you want to do something about it, patrol the park yourself with a boombox. When you see people having sex, play polka music very loudly. It's the easiest way to ruin sex. It's a fun and harmless way to "take back the park", even though it's not anyones park to begin with, which is why this would be the best way to "fight" it. It'll just move them elsewhere to have sex, but at least it'll feel like you did something to change the world.

Yep, all the police need to hear is 'suspicious black male' and the park will be heavily patrolled. I'm not trying to be racist by saying it, it's sad that it's true, but mr diabeetus is right. However, I dont think the park should be heavily patrolled, let nature be nature, it's not meant to be patrolled, it's meant to be a place away from the controlled confines of the city.

I applaud the sheriff for interpreting the law instead of acting based on hysteria. Why are people making a big deal out of people having sex in a remote part of the woods? I think leaving condoms out is disgusting, and the people who are littering should be punished, but people should not be punished for having sex, period. It's human nature. Oh, well what about the poor innocent children who might see it? Um, it's human nature, they're going to see it eventually. The trauma is more based on forcing them to be victims instead of them actually having any negative feelings about it. Knock off the hysteria, it's getting really annoying. Kids are not stupid, people have sex, it's natural human activity in nature. Grow up people.

she wont go to trial, shes a female and females are always the victims with the current legal system. let me guess, shes sorry, and she used to be abused herself, so we're supposed to excuse it? knock off the double standards, please..

Oh cool, finally the transition to digital TV has been completed, now we're only about 10 years behind the rest of the world instead of 50-60 years. Progress is good, but I see this just being the beginning, as converter boxes become obsolete once the new h264 standard starts being used.

Also, the reason that this transition was pushed so hard is so the FCC can collect their tens of billions of dollars for selling the spectrum that analog TV used to use, and they'll end up selling more spectrum once the switch to h264 allows for more narrow channels and less bandwidth (more value!!! and we can get even richer!!! omg this is brilliant!). It's twice as efficient as the current standard, and its what the rest of the world is already using. Also, considering DVB's error correction is superior to DTV, I don't get why the US is pushing 10 year old technology with poor error correction (the 'blockiness' you see when the signal is poor) when the worldwide standard is far superior (its a lot more forgiving when the signal is weak, and the picture quality is a lot better too, and allows for more subchannels. Oh well, we'll get there, just way late as usual.
