I agree also. Slave issues of the Civil war are done and over with, yet for some reason, BHO's organizers keep bringing it up continually- especially in the South. The 'slavery' we should be concerned with is when the government can tell us when and what to eat, when we can and what doctor we can see, whether we have health insurance- if not , we must pay a 'penalty' tax--- and if don't consider this 'slavery' there is something wrong here. Race is and never was the issue--- there are more ways to make citizens of a country 'slaves' especially if you hand them everything, with government programs 'financed' by the wealthy, which will cripple a capitalist system, and put us into anarchy of socialism. Go back into who the main ringleaders were of the French Revolution, and how the peasants were incited by the nobility who saw it to their advantage to stir up the poor with rumors and innuendo....Pelosi, Reed, CNN, MSBC, and our partisan press, to name a few.....

Amen. This woman & her family are among those that are TRUE Americans, and not the farce that was elected president in front of the teleprompter.

I will keep this family in my prayers at Mass this Sunday.

You are correct. In today's society, any expression, belief, or faith in a Supreme Being, much less God, is looked on with 'curiosity' vs. that is a normal thing, i.e, to believe in God. It is also being spoon fed to our children in the public schools, take a look at their textbooks- the Creation story is not even mentioned as a possibility, but the theory we are descended from apes, or other mammals is.

Our founding forefathers, did not walk in the darkness of ignorance, but walked in the light of knowledge and wisdom. They also predicted that if for any reason our country took out the words 'in God We Trust' the country would fall....looks like we are well on our way.

No benefits for politicians after they finsh their term
I also believe that there should be rules on both parties- both Democrats and Republicans, so they cannot 'fix' who will get the nomination like Obama did. Truth to be told, Hilary Clinton was probably the choice and she stopped the count.
Also nothing called a Superdelegate, like what tipped the balance here in Virgina for Obama. This creates pandering in an election, where the nominees spend more time trailing around after people picked off a list and named a 'superdelegate' or whatever, then campaigning on more important issues.

I would also like to see an Ethics committee interview those who decide to run for office- what are their morals, what is the history of their charitable donations- and this is really important-

when they were a senator, congressman/woman, HOW MUCH did they vote and how often did they vote?? No one seemed to care that Obama was campaigning the moment he became a senator- they proved it from his voting record.

I have seen more people get upset because someone didn't cut their grass on time or hang white Christmas lights to match everyone else than get upset over what the Chosen one says or does--- it's hunky dory with them- what do they care- they're getting a free handout- and they voted for 'change they can believe in' and they won the election and we must deal with it, all the yada yada b.s. they regurgitate. I was amazed at how many people voted for Obama because of YouTube videos, not because of the information on the news.

Ranger, I remember my parents going on even and odd days for gas too.

I also remember when Carter - who should have stayed buried on the peanut farm in Georgia instead of recognizing the POL- Terrorists. He crippled the military and our country was defenseless until Reagan.

you aren't paranoid you are seeing history repeating itself. Actions that are being taken- the economy tanking- the election manipulated by associates of Obama, the wealthy being taxed into oblivion, those who have earned bonuses being taxed beyond rationality- all of these actions in similar form took place with the Nazi gov. 50-60 yrs before, and in pre-revolutionary France before the nobility and royal family were beheaded- their subjects were made to think they were monsters by the propaganda engineered by Duc D'Orleans & the Jacobins (compare this to Obama's campaign members & the press in today's society) Religion was nationalized & priests had to answer & be loyal to the govnment(sound familar?) Property of the nobility was seized (also sound familar- businesses being nationalized_) and then finally, the citizen police- (Acorn protestors today) naming people 'disloyal ' to the republic. Go back and read your history- not the public school history books, and then be afraid at the blaring similarities.

Definition of POW-Prisoner of War, i.e, soldier
The people being held captive are not soldiers, they are terrorists, and it's not illegal to hold them captive. they are NOT entitled to the same priviledges since they have formed acts of aggression against innocent people.
