I don't think this functionality is available on the web client, but maybe there is a work around with the new Twitter Lists feature.
You're absolutely right. This is the point I tried to illustrate in the last paragraph of the post. There is no way we're going to go back now, or ever.
I could have easily have sorted the search results by oldest to newest, or even limited to a certain date/time range, and I would have found the answer I was looking for. At the time, I was so astonished by the number of tweets that were made in that single minute, that I ended up using that bit of information instead of 'when Gmail went down'. Twitter search is very versatile and powerful.
I've been known to blow off my blogs in the past, as well. BrandSwag has done a pretty good job of keeping me in check though. Every Tuesday, you'll see a blog on the BrandSwag site by me.
