First of all thank you for sending that .deb file and i learned how to use the Winscp! But unfortunately the same did not work for me. After quiet a while i gave up and took the Iphone to a workshop repairing the phones. As per them the chap who sold me the Iphone had installed a Turbo sim inside the iphone and which was not letting me update my firmware and use it, He opened up the device and removed that tiny peice of plastic and he gave it back,
After which i did a normal restore, jailbreak and unlock using all the dev team software and the phone was back in action with stronger reception ever !!!
I am not sure if this is of any help but if you seem to be having the same problem of NO SERVICE even after trying out each and everything, may be you have a case of outdated turbosim stuck in your iphone.

Problem i have never used Winscp.(I downloaded it and it is asking me for loging in?) ** NO CLUE **, .deb package ** NO CLUE **
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Once again Thanks a million for finding a way... I have been stuck on No Service for over 2 weeks now.
