Many explosives are stable. The type used in these grenades was probably highly stable considering the enviroment they were designed to be carried and used in. Problem is that chemicals can deteriorate over time. These were pretty old grenades.
It is better to err on the side of safety and not move them if you don't have to. IMHO

The $1.5 was probably just a delaying tactic. Slowed the process so Adams could either purge files or prepare a defense for what will be found in them.

Obviously Adams has reached a point where he has zero dignity and zero sense of moral or ethical discipline. Most normal people would be so humiliated that they would have left the office right after the public confession. He has gone so far at this point that nothing short of a recall or legal action is going to unseat him. The rest of the council could remove him I think. They are becoming more and more to blame as the days go by and they don't act. Political creatures, about their own survival rather than doing the right thing. Despicable.
Clean house and start all over.

Also, being intelligent enough to be a 'slow aviator' you do realize that 'PDX' is often used in electronic media (particularly by locals) to reference the city in non airport related conversation. Right?

Sounds like manufacturing is remaining in Southern Oregon.
There is alway the chance that could move up here too.
But hey, every 10/20 jobs helps, imported or not.

The leasing of office space is good. Not much of that going on around here.
Wonder how many of the 20 +/- employees will not actually reside in PDX.

Growing up must mean a $trillion pork infested government spend and splurge.
How about your employer take out a massive loan against massive debt?
Good idea.
Like they havent been watching the past 8 years. Borrowing and Spending is killing us. So, more borrowing and spending will revive us right? RIGHT?
Ask Japan how that worked out for them. (hint, 'lost decade').
So I guess, grow up yourself.
By the way, this is not a partisan comment. ALL of government spends OUR money poorly and without restraint.

America should not have to 'hold on' to an out of control rollercoaster. They should be driving it. This stimulus debacle gives the power to the few, in DC. NOT American.
