I wonder if we will see Larg grow into a full-fledged Rebellion commander and a hero to the downtrodden, now that he has found some confidence in his own abilities.

From what I know about planetary armosphere science (which is not that much), free oxgem usually demands biological processes to sustain as it otherwise tends to react with metals and minerals and get completely bound in the ground with time.

This makes me conclude two important facts if the show cares about that stuff:
1) Homeworld was once highly populated by organic life forms - most likely the creators of Gemkind lived (or are still living) here. Gems seem more akin to silicat based organic robots with an AI core in their gem than like a life form that evolved naturally from minerals.
2) Gems need high Oxygen levels in the atmosphere for something and sustain it artificially (if the original biological processes were extinguished). if they would not care about Oxygen, chemical processes would have removed it from the atmoshere long ago.

So, for me the main takeaway of this episode is the fact that Eyeball might be REALLY IMPORTANT to the whole plot.
She has observed the shattering firsthand, she may have witnessed more than she herself realizes.
While at the moment she is mostly parroting the official record of "Rose went to meet Pink Diamond then shattered her", I imagine she might have forgotten some really crucial minor details that show what really transpired.

We were given quite a lot of characterization for her already and I can see that going even more into detail in future episodes.

The episode seemed chock full of good advice already, but seeing the perspective from which it was written makes it that much better for me.

PS: The song was written by Rebecca Sugar herself, when she was going through a diffucult time.
Sadly I was unable to find the link, but she talked about it somehwere on her blog or on crewniverse, where she also posted a version of "Here Comes A Though" sung by herself.
