I just can't even stress how awful this is from an historic perspective. He was a pivotal figure and I believe his work changed the world and that his capacity to improve things in the future was unlimited. This is such an immense loss :(

This is an absolute tragedy. He was such an immense force for exposing media lies and I depended on him to lead the way for all of us. Strangely this comes as less of a shock to me, because as I have been watching his media appearances of late he seemed so incredibly stressed and intense and upset and unhealthy. I was thinking how awful it would be if he pushed himself too hard and passed away. But now it has happened and I feel ill about it. RIP Andrew.

this attack on Santorum is just the latest attempt by the mainstream media in their neverending quest to paint conservatives/republicans as unfit for office.

you can't win the war by bowing out of it - you will lose by forfeit because the other side is still playing. sifting through all the BS is very difficult for an individual to do, but do that is what we must to understand our world. most people don't do it, and there you have the electorate and the difficulty in talking to friends, family and neighbors about basic common sense and improving our lives.

what I am glad about is that the stranglehold of mainstream media leftist propaganda has a few holes in it that are opening wider and wider for the truth to flow through, and more people seem to be waking up.

when I hear someone say "both sides do it" or "republicans and democrats are the same" I am instantly suspicious, because while I understand there are some similar issues (the main one being increasing the size of government to give perks in order to get/stay elected), the fact that the mainstream media are more than 90% liberal should tell you that it is not an equal battle in the press or that both sides are equally propagandizing. They aren't. The left owns the media, academia, hollywood and much of our government. the tiny squeak of alternative viewpoints on the right, that have gained traction since Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and the Internet blogosphere have come to the forefront, is still just a drop in the bucket compared to the overwhelming amount of liberal propaganda out there. a ballpark ratio like 90/10 cannot be dismissed as "both sides do it."

you need to pick the right side and stay in the battle until it's won. not throw your hands up in the air because for some reason you think they are all the same. they aren't. so what if you thought one individual was right all the time and then it turns out he wasn't. why would you pin all your hopes onto one radio host in the uber liberal city of Portland? branch out and read more. maybe you will find some other voices to give you hope.

how many OWS rapes have there been? we will never know, because the mainstream media have not been reporting them. but "potential terrorists within the racist tea party based on inflammatory signage?" that we hear about all day every day.

the world is upside down and it needs to be righted. starting with calling B.S. on the propagandists in charge. thank you to Andrew Breitbart for leading the charge.

I have long said that teachers are overpaid. Yes, overpaid. Why? Because they don't work nearly as many hours as you have to in the private sector. This article shows an example. Teaching 3 classes would be working less than 3 hours per week in the classroom. Do they spend 37 additional hours per week to manage these classes? If they have to do some administrative things, which every job does, then ok shave off 7 of those hours and divide the remaining 30 by 3 and you have 10 hours per class per week for preparation, grading, etc. I would bet my life savings that most teachers do not need/use 10 hours per week per class. On top of that, the school schedule with all its holidays and breaks boils down to about 8 months of work per year, which means your typical unionized teacher has a maximum of 1400 hours worked per year, whereas your average non-unionized teacher works about 1900. Not to mention the amazing perks teachers get, such as free or virtually free healthcare and pension. Yet their salaries are very high. One of my family members makes $80,000 per year salary working as a kindergarten teacher in California. She used to complain that instead of finishing class at 11am the school district was doubling up and cracking down and she had to work until 2pm. She always whines and mentions how she was grading papers or had to go do work for a couple hours, and somehow that is supposed to elicit sympathy because I feel sorry for her having to work so hard? What?!?!?!

Just another liberal scam that has blinded us with false emotion over the past several decades, that poor teachers work so hard and are so underpaid. It is total B.S.
