With the anouncement about the state run healthcare disaster coming out way, all I can say is the Marx movement should be proud. Let us all prepare to mourn the free market and hope one day we will figure out that few if any state run programs are as successful as they are planned
When someone talks about FDR democrate, for one thing he was another in long line to attack our constitution, but more importantly they were the ones who no matter what their background or education was they were willing to dig a ditch. They fought multiple foreign dictators, we can't even keep the domestic ones that are attempting to overtake our freedoms now.
Try looking into history, Greece was a democracy, Rome was a republic. A democracy is a system that the citizens vote on every issue. A republic is a system that citizens vote on representatives to represent them on issues. Which one sounds the system that the founders of our nation were trying to create. And before the argument of look how Rome ended up is brought up, you have to remember that it was one man's greed for power and a charity or welfare given to the poor that brought the empire into power. Again sound familiar, it was the creation of welfare by the emperors that started the down fall of an empire. Other reason yes were factors but the draining of coffers limited the empire to defend itself in its later years. History is not irrelevent it should be a starting point when researching, because people smarter than us have probably already made the same mistakes.
Didn't we go through this amnesty thing about 5 to 6 years ago, didn't think it was popular then. I personally thought that the majority thought securing the border. We've had 5 years to build a fence, if we truely worked on it i would think it would be somewhat done by now. Thats just my thoughts.
The New Deal, More than two terms, it looks like the obama administration and the democrats are looking to recreate the Roosevelt era. To bad they don't admire the Washington administration. I guess soon we will replace Hail to the Chief with long live the King.
sometimes its not a dark hidden objective, most of the time the biggest attacks on our liberties are done in the open and with our knowledge. Its a lot easier to step into the light; and find the easier answer, we are willingly letting our freedom go for sale and for what, free items from our government that we as tax payers are paying for.
Is it just me or does that the party system and its media have a mission to destroy a small town mom, who by achieved the position of governor. I don't care if you like Sarah Palin or not, I think all the attention she has suddenly been given since her nomination for VP, has been a convienent. Also why is the lives of her family so important and not her political achievements. I know this sight is not supposed to be used for politics, just solutions, but if they attack everyone who they dislike then how are we supposed to be allowed to accurately determine the best quality of person for ourselves. I just want facts, not the medias oppinions
I have had a new wishlist, its simple and short. CUT FEDERAL SPENDING AND COME UP WITH A TAX SYSTEM THATS FAIR, I don't care if it a flat tax, fair tax or each citizen pays $2000 each year.
just got back from getting my taxes done, waited until the last minute, my government savings plan. just because i worked a full time job, decided to get a part time job and also the small acrage that i care for, i was placed into a higher tax bracket. can't figure out why i get punished for working. if i work my but off, why should i have to carry so leeches. ITS TIME RETURN THE TAX CODE AND ELIMINATE THE IRS. charge me for what i spend, not what i make. that way when i get ready to retire i will have a nice nest egg waiting on me if i want it.
when it comes to working class, i understand that some people are very limited in what they can do, but you have to figure all those who choose not to work. back pain, mental illness come on you think they are truly helpless. the county i'm from hired a truely mentally challenged person to assist with clean up. did they need him, no, but they paid him a wage and it made him happy. so why not allow these people who want to contribute to society, contribute and it they don't its all their choice after that. take care of our elderly and those in true need, thats it.
