I agree that the Market needs a lot of work. Everyone has great ideas on how to improve the market from adding a desktop/web client. Adding daily/weekly/monthly "best of" listings. Even adding tags would be an improvement.

I think complaining about having to use Google Checkout is ridiculous. As it's been pointed out, you have to give Apple a credit card to purchase apps from iTunes. Honestly I think using Google Checkout is the way to go. I don't want T-Mobile to add the purchase price of apps to my bill. I like when I buy something it's paid for at the time I buy it. It helps me not over spend when making purchases.

I think one area that really needs improving is with the phones themselves. Let's face it, if someone wanted to go absolutely app crazy with the iPhone they have gigs of space to install them. As it stands right now, out of 64MB on my G1, I have 10MB free. That's not much room to invest much in apps. Expanding the memory on the phones would help open the door to more sales. Even if they put 2GB on the phones that would be a vast improvement to what's available now. I've seen a lot of people even suggesting that Android should be able to install apps to the microSD card. While that could work, I would prefer to have more room on the phone for the apps and then the microSD card can still be used for music, video, pictures and data storage for the apps.

I've always had a problem with this outings. I thing you're right in feeling that we're telling everyone that person is as immoral as us. Of course as a group we're not any more moral or immoral as any other group of people.

I only think it's right to out these people after they've allowed themselves to be caught in some toe tapping, footsie playing bathroom activities.

I have to admit I'm rather surprised by those numbers. Sadly I don't think there will be a big push to change our constitution to allow for civil unions or marriage.

Is this the 1950's segregated south? This is like a senator from that era saying "we're allowing the colored folk to have their own diners." In retrospect if senator had said something like that then, we would see it as the hateful comment it was meant to be. In what I hope is none to distant future everyone will see Senator Eichelberger's comment in the same light.

I think Lee said it best on Twitter when he said this basically makes the rest of us 4th class citizens.

Actually I think this makes the rest of us 5th class citizens when you take into account that some counties and cities offer the same type of benefits to their employees.

Personally I feel that this is in conflict with DOMA. Of course I'm not a lawyer. This does at a minimum make Obama's administration a hypocrite on LGBT issues.

But isn't Maggie infamous for twisting facts? No matter why Carrie was let go, Maggie is going to make it sound like it had everything to do with her opposite sex marriage answer.

Or stop recognizing all the straight marriages.

When you sign a petition you believe you're right for believing the way you do. As such, you should be able to stand up and not be ashamed of what you did. Even if what you're trying to do is take away an inalienable right from your neighbors.

I know I wouldn't have a problem with standing up publicly for my beliefs. Why is it that that people trying to deny rights to others have a problem with it? Do they know deep down that they aren't being very Christ like in denying us our civil rights?

An excellent point. I haven't thought of it in those terms.

I hope you get a response from her office. This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. I bet she's upset then that some of the black men are marrying white women. Which in turn leaves less black men available to marry the black women.

She should be ashamed of herself.
