BUT the state says the project is on time and within budget?!?!! What about quality and is the bridge built with NO known SAFETY issues? Geez...and there are people needing jobs that DON'T drink on the job....our democratic state has totally gone down the tubes - MIS-MANAGED!

I wouldn't give Animal Control much credit. Most likely they knew about this months ago and are just now taking action. Animal Control is full of incompetent people, especially in King County. I think King County is in bed with most horse barn owners in the area where horses are under fed and farms under 5 acres with over a 50 - 100 animals...King County never sees it as a problem as they laugh while walking away. These animal hoarders and animal control people walk the same talk. When it becomes an "oops" now the animals are sick, then someone responds. Washington State has a serious problem!
This is very sad. I can't believe parents fail to protect their children these days especially when guns are around. Because parents can't protect, we will need to create a whole bunch of Federal and State laws just to protect children they produced and can't protect as a responsible parent. I hope the new laws hold parents fully accountable with long term jail sentences. There were no laws created to make my parents protect me. They did it naturally and based on common sense. God 'Bless these children who are not.
This crime makes me sick! I feel horrible for the young woman assigned to watch an at-risk criminal without any defense or backup personel. What is our state thinking? Our state collects more taxes then most states in the Union, including sales and property taxes. But the correctional center could not afford one more employee to provide double duty for protection? I'm outraged!!! I just saw a state employee from the DOT driving like an idiot down Hwy. 167, at high speed, in a van, using a cell phone. Well maybe the state can yank his job, van and cell phone to have enough money to hire additional help. I know this is soooo rude saying this at a time when a young, youthful, successful person lost her life. However, our state needs to wake up and put funding where it's really needed. My prayers go to Jayme Biendl and her family. I'm so sorry this happened to such a wonderful young lady!

Deena please go crawl back in your hole and leave the public out of your comments. You must be one of the texters always crossing the line. I had a niece killed in a traffic accident. She was the one using her phone, dropped it and tried to pick it up. Unknowingly she crossed the line and hit another car head on. We would love to have her back and so would her children. Sometimes laws are created for safety reasons and I believe this one will save lives. The world doesn't revolve around Deena!
