Sorry for the confusion...That was a quote from an article by John Dean at the link I included. There is NO way I would want to see a dictatorship in our country but according to that article it would be possible given the right circumstances. It seems that civil unrest could be one of those circumstances.

GHWB lost because he bought into the lies put out by the democrats about the economy. That and his "read my lips" speech. Perot offered an alternative to republicans that couldn't bring themselves to vote for the "lesser of two evils". Now, we're all galvanized in our fight against our march toward s ocialism. Seems to me that a third party headed by Sarah Palin could actually win provided we the people stand with her and not vote the party line as usual. We need her to lead us and our great country back to the principles on which our country was founded. I'll vote for her should she choose to run no matter what party she chooses.

Yeah, Great! Redistribution of wealth! Glenn is doing more than his share for the cause by sticking his neck out every day telling us the things the MSM won't. I'm not sure what you mean by "a little more hip to the cause". Armed insurrection? Feuding amongst ourselves? This is not the place nor should it be. This is a think tank where ideas can be hashed out, agreed upon, and then put into action. Moderation is necessary to keep us and this site and all of the other sites from being shut down and having to meet in the dark of night to discuss our ideas and frustrations.

I'm not so sure a Republican majority will change the way things are going. They haven't bucked the system so far, why should we believe they will if we put them back in power. And who is it that tells us independents can't win? The government run media and the two parties themselves? If Ross Perot hadn't been a little bit crazy ( he did say somebody or something was out to get him or someone in his family and then dropped out only to re-enter the race later ) he may have actually won. I would have voted for him if he hadn't done those things. The parties will support who they want to regardless of how the people feel then we will have the same old good boy choices we always have. I think now is as good a time as any for a third party and I'll support the candidate that supports the 9 principles and 12 values.
