The photographer is a coworker of mine and he takes tons of really great photos of stuff we drive/walk past everyday. Very nice job John. I'm still wanting a signed print of this one.

How about issuing sand / salt to homeowners on hilly routes. Maybe even some road closed signs as well. It would be in their interest to help keep the route passable and hundreds of mini crews is much more effective than 10 plows.

Not surprised. I see so many people hauling trailers at way too high of speed over Snoqualmie regularly. An endorsement is required to ride a motorcycle and a boaters education program is currently being phased in but we turn people loose to tow trailers with zero education. Oh yeah, just because your truck has lights that doesn't exempt you from having them on your trailers.

If all the neighbors follow suit maybe they could create a neighborhood with character and realize an increase in real estate values.

Forget about your UPS package. If I-5 and the passes stay closed much longer there wont be any TP in your local grocery store. Produce, diapers, and lots of stuff is waiting 200 miles south. When they do open it will still take days for the supply chain to normalize.

We've got around 12 inches on the ground in South Everett. Just went out and ran some errands. The main roads are in decent shape but the plows have pushed the snow to the shoulders so the driveways to many area businesses are very deep and lots of cars are getting stuck. If you have a small car or no chains beware.

Oh yeah, pull out the tired old 4wd example and sit back and feel superior. I find far more frustrating the large numbers of drivers who leave home unprepared and ill equipped only to spin out in the road and abandon their vehicles.
