Fattening food cost a lot less than healthy food. 77 cents per child is not very much to be able to spend on healthy food, so of course, the food served at school is gonna be crap. Until that changes, the menus at school are not going to be that healthy. I think the world could use more Jamie Olivers, whom seems to genuinely care about people.
Did you see the dash cam video of the shooting?? One cop is saying "nice" after the dog is shot. Didn't look like they were too scared for the citizens of the neighborhood that day. More like they were bored. This cheeses me off so bad, the way they treated that dog, from start to finish. Look at the video, its all on there. JUSTICE FOR ROSIE!! RIP sweetie!!
yes!!! love happy endngs like this!
i hope this dog recovers and goes cujo on the shooters a$$. absolutely disgusting. how do these people sleep at night??
wow, what if this had been more serious? how would the dispatcher explain themselves?? sometimes there are no words for how dim some people can be. thank goodness no one was shot or stabbed. i hope to read in the upcoming days on this site that the dispatcher is no longer a dispatcher.
oh man, i sure hope he is ok! i am very concerned after reading the section about two unknown people using his bank card :( i definitely will be keeping him and his family in my thoughts. please come home safe, sean!!
i would be livid if i were her. no amount of money can replace a pet, obviously, but at least don't add insult to injury by offering her just airfare and 50 bucks. at least act like you care and that you feel bad, delta. stories like this make me think twice about flying airlines that behave like this. going to vegas in april, most likely won't be taking delta. my way of honoring the deceased kitty :(
bless every single one of those workers who have had to go into that house and see all the horrifying things they have had to see. it can't be an easy job and i am sure its very upsetting for them. they are heros in my eyes and heros to the animals as well.
this is one lawsuit i might actually support. the poor husband begged and pleaded for help to find his missing wife and was turned away repeatedly, almost to the detriment of his wife. they need to change the criteria for missing persons, in my opinion. did you know a coworker of the wife, in the first few days of her disapperance, actually went out of her way to call cops and tell them they really should check out the husband, that he gave her the creeps?? i believe this also helped spur the rumor that he had something to do with her missing. seems to me the cops listened to this lady, who knew nothing of the husband really, more than they listend to the husband, who just wanted his wife found. very sad deal all around, but thank goodness it had a happy ending and she was found alive.
this is exactly why i don't donate the suggested 5 dollars to the parks when i renew my car tabs every year. i know it won't go where they say it will go. i felt guilty about not contributing, until i read this article, then i knew it was a smart decision.
