The city had been on edge ever since this murder took place. I (along with scores of other women) was very uncomfortable just walking out ot my car in Wenatchee while this case remained unsolved and the killer was on the loose. He not only inflicted unspeakable horror on Mackenzie but on the community as well. I personally think this should be a death penalty case but for whatever reason they are not going for that. I think I (along with almost everyone else in Wenatchee) would be totally ok with life in jail with no change in heck of parole. I just don&#039;t want to see him out in 20 years. Would kinda be a slap in the face to Mackenzie for him to get such a light sentence.
