So, I may be the only one, but this chapter is actually one of the most frustrating Tammy chapters to me because of one person-- Jak.

The new side we see to him here fascinates me. He seems so REAL and I LOVE it. I just need to know more about Jak. What if he'd been like this earlier? What is he like when the goats aren't there? What's his family like? What does he do once they leave?
There are hints here and there throughout the story about him and his character compared to Fin's. Someone says "Jak's got too good of a heart, but Fin? Or Quen?" And on a re-read I just need to know more. What did he do that the court knows this about him?

I just need more Jak in my life.

I was thinking of Briar and Aly. Like, he keeps flirting with her and she flirts back but shuts him down and just a constant battle of street smart wits.

OR OR OR Rosethorn and early Wyldon or one of the conservatives. The lecturing would be unimaginable.

It's always something that I try to keep in mind. When I was in high school, seniors were required to take a Citizenship class, and I took it form my favorite teacher. For one assignment, every student was given a current conflict, told to research and explain it, and then present a solution; I was given the Northern Ireland/Ireland conflict (secession from the UK and Catholic vs Protestant, as an extreme simplification for those who don't know). The simple solution was to have the Catholics who wanted to secede to move to Northern Ireland and the Protestants to live in Ireland under the UK. (I very sincerely apologize if I have the facts wrong; it's been 6 years.) As I said in my PowerPoint, it couldn't be that simple, no one is going to just want to leave their ancestral home and family because of these silly politics.
The saddest moment of that month for me was when the teacher told me that not a single one of my classmates had noticed that a simple solution to any of these conflicts was possible.

My goodness, I scrolled through The Attic (ha ha Dollhouse jokes!) and got really excited! That takes out Firefly, some Angel and Buffy and all of Dollhouse which I forgot to even put on the list. Thank you!

I can't begin to describe how grateful I would be to anyone who could get me some Firefly. Those browncoats are my life, man.

Also, I found Mark just when video commissions were no longer free, and I thought I'd have to wait until I had enough disposable income (read: a very long time, if ever) before I cold get any Mark Watches videos. So, I'm also going to put a list here of shows that I would very much appreciate random episodes of, if anyone minds sharing.
