Even if candidates limit contributions, that doesn't stop Super-PACs.

I can't believe KATU didn't include the part where the guy drives the car in circles at an intersection only to ends up in an cul-de-sac and have to drive in more circles to get out. It was very amusing to say the least.

Glad this guy was caught and that no one was hurt. I was watching the entire ordeal on KATU. Am I the only one surprised that this guy decided to rob a bank on his birthday?

I wouldn't mind if that Dock was a tourist trap and a memorial to the people in the Tohoku Region but I think we are about to get a lot more debris as large as the Dock. Scientists predicted the debris will get to the Oregon Coast in 2013 but it came early. We are just at the beginning, and I think for the next few years we'll be reading more news articles similar to this one.

This is only the beginning. There will be more debris along the coast and the State won't have the money to clean it up.

Because it's only been the past year that the Public Opinion has shifted in favor of legalizing marijuana. Support for legalization has been growing steadily the past decade.

On October 28, 2010, Gallup released a poll that found 46% favored legalizing marijuana http://www.gallup.com/poll/144086/new-high-americ...

On October 17, 2011, Gallup released a poll that found 50% favored legalizing marijuana http://www.gallup.com/poll/150149/record-high-ame...

On May 17, 2012, Rasmussen released a poll that found 56% favored legalizing marijuana http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/li...

As Eyes_Open said, it's only a matter of time. Washington State and Colorado voters will get the opportunity this November to vote on whether to legalize marijuana. Oregon may too depending on whether it gets on the ballot.

Personally I think Colorado will legalize marijuana this year after looking at this poll from Rasmussen that found 61% of Coloradans support legalizing marijuana http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/po...

It's Fairview Ave. that the skateboarders use once they get to the top of the west hills using the Washington Park Max Station and it is because of Charlie Hales that it's legal for skateboarders to use roads and skate down Fairview and create dangerous conditions. Before Charlie Hales, the Police could prevent such dangerous conditions but now they can't because of Charlie Hales approving skateboarding on streets in 2000 when he was a councilman .

I think it's time the voters in the metro region get to decide who leads Trimet. It's time for some accountablity.

Why is this happening in the first place? Because of Charlie Hales and his reckless law that allows skateboarders to create dangerous environments on roads. I will never vote for that guy.
