Where is Canyon Road? The only road I can think of is Highway 26 that goes through a Canyon. I drove it to work everyday for a year but never heard it called that. It would be so helpful it the writer was clear about where it was and not to assume we all know its' location. That is always annoying.

It might be overkill on the part of the media and police. I tend to think it has more to do with all the different kinds of drugs available now days.

Way too much wind in Troutdale. Trust me I lived there for 25 years. Now live in SW Gresham and aside from the fact Gresham doesn't take very good care of the roads in the snow it is so much nicer not to feel like your house is blowing away. I used to feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ that our house, more specifically the bedroom was going to take off up in the sky. We did lose a good portion of our roof in 1985. The helicopers flying over head in Troutdale were usually someone in the river who drowned or one of the landslides. Or a rescue from Mt. Hood.

It is all over. This started on Foster. It is a main thorough way. It doesn't mean the fellow lives anywhere around there.

Yes, I saw them directly west my neighbohood which is probably east of your area. The helicopers hovered and the plane kept flying in circle. At sunset they moved east to my area. I can't imagine he could get this far.

No police on 190th or Pleasant View Road to tell people to stay away from Foster.

Unless this story has been rewritten there is NO mention of "her" ? owning a gun. He came in the house with his gun. Reread the story please.
