It would greatly improve human health to avoid eating mammal flesh. This is undeniable. Since human health is among the highest of Judaism's goals, it would seem to be in the interest of Judaism to ban the eating of mammal flesh, given modern scientific knowledge. It would also decrease global warming & increase the food supply to the hungry.

There is nothing wrong with arguing both that Judaism should discourage the eating of mammal flesh & that it is wrong to prohibit religious methods of slaughter in use for thousands of years. In fact, there was a rabbi who wrote recently about this topic. He said he did not see much of a difference in cruelty (neither do I by the by) between the methods, but also said he was giving up everything but chicken & fish pretty much. I think that's a most moral approach.

The same is said for anti-circumcision laws. What is your take on that?

By the by, mammal flesh is not part of my diet. If Jews restrict themselves to Kosher chicken, there's not a blasted thing the Danish government can do about it. The Nazi's also banned Kosher slaughter, but they could not stop Jews from eating Kosher chicken.

The notion that morality has not advanced over thousands of years is outrageous. The key in the Torah, oral & written, is the prohibition against murder. This prohibition nauseated Nazis.

In America, the Civil War is the most important event kids learn about in American history. All know that war stemmed from slavery & that slavery was a great blight on our historical record, the greatest of them all. It has been 150 years since that war ended. Still, no one, or hardly anyone anyways, wants the slavery to return. To the extent there is Confederate support, it is not effective, in the sense that no one really wants what the Confederacy wanted.

Compare that with the Great Patriotic War (WWII). Russian suffering was greater than that experienced by America in our Civil War. Still alive are untold numbers of Red Army Veterans. Most important, there is no evil lesson for Russians to learn, as there is for Americans; Russians defended themselves against mass murder by evil invaders.

What really amazes about the current wave of which you speak is the fascist philosophy behind it. By heavens, these foolish Black 100's have forgotten that so many of their grandparents' generation were slaughtered by the fascists. One wonders how this is even possible.

The Christ Killer in Christianity & Koran 5:82 in Islam -> permanent antipathy to Jews. One might as well blame Blacks for being slaves for so many centuries. Blaming the victim always involves duplicity.

A quite apposite comment. Removing people from their time & place is unfair. FDR could not have avoided being, to some degree, racist, sexist, & anti-Jewish, in our eyes because the time, in our eyes, was racist, sexist, & anti-Jewish. Instead of fulminating against FDR, concentration upon President Herbert Hoover would be advisable. Simply evaluate the man's 1964 continued argument against involvement in WWII, together with its complete neglect of the horror of the Shoah. Had that fiend been in power, the Jews of America would likely have been gassed. If you doubt that, again read the biography, which traces the fall of France to Mr. Leon Blum. Few remember that Pres. Hoover was the American Chamberlain; when Japan attacked Manchuria, Pres. Hoover refused to attack, citing Japan as a means of protecting America against communism.

In the US, these idiots would not even make the news unless they were like this fiend, a member of Parliament (Congress in the US). Not even anti-Jewish Congressmen, such as the toupee wearing fellow who went to jail, make the news for being rather brutally anti-Jewish. That's because our freedom of speech is such that all may say what lunacy they wish. What is hilarious is that then these same persons claim to be victims of Jews because their views are criticized.

My prediction is that, were all permitted to hang loose, these people would become non-entities. They would be seen for the murderous pigs they are & then forgotten. David Duke has never served in a big government position, except when he went to jail for a felony.
