My assessment of the NoKo-Soko tensions is plain and simple.I think all this mess is about, is giving credibility to Kim Jong Un. He is the heir apparent to the throne so to speak and needs some ruthless credibility in order to get the backing of the military commanders. This is sabre rattling at its best and we know Noko loves to make noise.Kim Jong Un is young and really has nadda in terms of leadership, this crap is designed to make him appear more in control and unwavering in the Noko stance against the South and the rest of the world. Most likely a design of China's to prevent a coup in Noko and having the US and Nato forces so close to their southern border.
Any thoughts or comments?

this is a topsy-turvy world we find ourselves in today, left is right , right is wrong, Funny thing about the live fire drills, they occur almost annually and posed a problem for NOKO until this critical date in time.

Two Views of History
There are two fundamental ways to view history. We call one the catastrophic or accidental view of history. We call the other view the conspiratorial view of history.

Machiavelli explains repeatedly that religion is man-made, and that the value of religion lies in its contribution to social order and the rules of morality must be dispensed with if security required it.
Most obviously, Machiavelli is generally seen as being critical of Christianity as it existed in his time, specifically its effect upon politics, and also everyday life. In his opinion, Christianity, along with teleological Aristotelianism that the church had come to accept, allowed practical decisions to be guided too much by imaginary ideals and encouraged people to lazily leave events up to providence or, as he would put it, chance, luck or fortune
