I've seen the Admiralty defense before. Just another example of the rampant mental illness in this country.

It has been pretty much just the blogosphere that has picked it up. We press released it to every international "news" organization and the entire Federal Register. We have a few General officers lined up as spokesmen. We're not done by a longshot.

Some push back from the five-sided squirrel cage threatening future funding for SF. USSOCOM and SFCOM are trying to find the names of the active duty signers, but that list is secure. Something about it is ok to march in a gay parade in uniform but not to sign a statement affirming the Constitution that you swore an oath to. Some rumors of high-level "embargo" on the statement, but no proof of real interference.
