Eric, I took about 500+ pictures on a continuous shot mode.

I don't think that is Maricopa Mountain, but it's definitely looking that way. I think that's just a hill between us an I-10 :)

This was taken around Gilbert and Hunt Highway, about 1/4 mile south of there.

Not sure what mountain that is. I think it's probably not Maricopa Mountain but a couple of hills next to I-10? That picture is taken on Gilbert south of Hunt Highway about 1/4 of a mile, so that is looking SW across I-10.

I think the camera took about 400 pictures for me to get these :)

My goal is to get a time lapse camera down the road so the shots can be much, much better. But just having a point and shoot...I'm happy with these :)

Yeah, it's accurate...that's what it looks like, only when we see this stuff, it's so quick, it may look different.

Thanks Kate...I changed the ISO speed on a few, but it's really hard to do much with the thing. Mostly luck, but still fun!

Thanks for heads up on him, I'll make sure to keep up. His website hasn't been updated in awhile, but he did post some lightning photos last August.

They are pretty great too, amazing stuff. Hoping I can figure out if my camera has a time lapse on it, or if my Flip can do freeze framing okay.

Otherwise, I may start looking for something new ;)
