Great post, Harley. Thank you for pointing out the numbersusa website. Although I had heard about it, I had never been to the site before. If we can get this type of site together for EACH and EVERY topic we are looking to address and then have links to them from this website, we really can make a difference. After all, who can complain about the time it takes to send an already composed statement in the form of a fax through the internet... takes less than a minute.

You hit it on the head... Specter even admitted to this in his televised message. Said he met with dem leaders and they assured him of funding for the '10 election if he would come over to their side. Here's the thing that made me think all of us might actually be making a difference... he said the 'right wing' of the Republican party is working to purify the party.

Mandy- thanks for the great tip! The publisher's site said that demand for these guides is at record highs... more than 17,000 printed in a single day. Oh, and I guess high demand comes with a price- the guide I am getting is $18- still worth it IMO. Here is a link to a detailed page of the guide-

Take note and mark this day... a politician makes an honest statement! We've all known for a long time now that Specter was a dem, just wasn't politically in his best interest to make it official until now. He is a sickening example of Washington politics- it's all about self-service for them. Yup, one RINO down... more to come?

The original site I was looking for was the Federal Election Commission at http://fec.gov. I don't know how accurate either of these sites are, though. I gave money for the presidential campaign but my name was not listed.

I like The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution by Kevin Gutzman... I use it as a reference all the time. It might shake some beliefs (as promoted by the progressive agenda) that you've accepted as fact. Scary to know the Constitution has been under attack since its creation.

HELP me, please... I am looking for the website where you find who donated funds to state and national elections- seems like it was a government agency. Someone posted this info on here a few weeks ago, but can't find it now! So frustrating... we really need this posted in a reference area on this site so we can have the tools readily available- webmaster, would this be possible? Thanks in advance!
