Based on Monica's post on Facebook, I have determined that the ambush took place yesterday...that means that HGTV does NOT let the winner know in advance....and they do actually keep to the schedule they post in the rules....good information for the next HGTV Home giveaway ;)

KEEPING THINGS POSITIVE: (Humor for today)
A husband and wife are getting ready for bed. The wife is standing in front of a full length mirror taking a hard look at herself.

"You know, dear," she says, "I look in the mirror and I see an old woman. My face is all wrinkled, every thing else is either sagging or bloated. I've got fat legs, and my arms are all flabby."

She turns to her husband and says, "Tell me something positive to make me feel better about myself."

He studies hard for a moment thinking about it and then says in a soft, thoughtful voice, "Well, there's nothing wrong with your eyesight."

Services for the husband will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 AM at Morris Memorial Chapel. Female friends of the family are invited.

Just a thought.....HGTV would probably pick the GMC Terrain up from a local dealership instead of putting MANY miles on it....has anyone ever thought of checking their local GMC dealerships to see if HGTV is in town?

Putting things in perspective....today is supposed to get up towards 102 degrees but there are 9 different fires burning in Colorado right now...thousands have lost homes. My thoughts and prayers are with all those that have lost everything and saying a special prayer for those firemen that are currently on the front lines. This is being reported as one of the most devastating times in the history of Colorado =(

Drinking wine in moderation can:
-Decrease the level of bad cholesterol and raise the level of good cholesterol in the blood.
-Decrease the tendency of blood to clot in arteries and increase the ability to dissolve clots after they have formed.
-Decrease the tendency of arteries to constrict during stress.
-Lower blood pressure.
-Increase coronary artery diameter and blood flow.
Now all I gotta do is change the meaning of the word moderation...
