I applaud all efforts to provide universal health care. But here is a huge problem: equipment companies charging outrageous fees for everyday equipment. for instance: my insurance company just spent $400 on a five foot piece of plastic tubing. that's on top of my $100 deductible. When I saw that I was floored. There is no way that is not a rip off. I am debating on whether to continue this type of therapy because I think the equipment company is seriously overcharging for its stuff. So how do we control this kind of problem.? Something needs to be done about controlling some of these costs!
